About Woodhouse College,
Welcome to the history of Woodhouse College site, a sixth form college in London.
Based around an Eighteenth Century manor house in Finchley, North London, Woodhouse College is a sixth-form college with around 80 staff and 1000 pupils. The original building was extended in the 1920s and 30s, with further areas added in 1997 and 2000. Woodhouse College is unique in terms of its comprehensive mission, strength of course offering, openness to students of merit in all majors, living-learning environment and emphasis on innovations in learning and teaching. Woodhouse College is, in short, poised to offer students the educational experience of a life time, providing the best aspects of a small college experience along with the resources and opportunities of a large, world-class research institution.
This strategic plan will enable the Woodhouse College to refine its offerings, sharpen its strength, and give competitiveness in coming years. With teamwork and a shared vision, these goals are eminently attainable and will enhance the highest quality and reputation of a UK education.
Woodhouse College depends on two types of planning:
1. Strategic planning includes such issues as institutional goals, academic priorities, and enrolment trends
2. Facilities planning include student’s facilities like library, computers, student centre and sports facilities.

The Vision:
With a view to making college a centre for excellence, the college envisions to open more professional course in Management and in Information Technology, and make them effective by developing the existing infrastructure. It envisions to make courses more participating and career oriented. The college shall strengthen healthy practice and support services for effective implementation of education to real like situations.
